Race 1
Qualifying placed the car in 3rd on the grid in class amongst a field of 34 cars. Only 3/10ths of a second seperated the first three cars in class and it was the start of a common theme for the day!

From the lights, it was a three way battle for almost the entire race between Cattliff, Marsh and Moloney with James Card following close behind and placing regular pressure on Moloney when the battle up front slowed the cars. Places were swapped regularly between Marsh and Moloney whilst Cattliff looked strong up front. As the race progressed however, the excess heat of the day started to affect the tyres and grip became scarce. All three leading cars were fealing the effect with Marsh and Moloney sliding wide at old hairpin sending Moloney onto the grass on the outside of the circuit for a heart stopping moment. This short trip off the track was enough to let James Card through and in the final stages of the race, a four way battle commenced.

As the cars approached the chicane onto the start-finish straight, Cattliff went in too deep, Marsh, Card and Moloney followed and all four cars crossed the line almost together. The race results showed a mere 7/10ths of a second between the four cars with the final positions leaving Moloney in 3rd place ahead of Marsh and trailing Card and Cattliff.

Race 2
Race 1 results provided the positions for race 2 and as the lights went out for the second time, a car from the front of the field failed to get off the line, holiding up the right side of the field and allowing Moloney to move into 10th overall into Redgate with Marsh and Cattliff some way down the field amongst a pack of much slower cars.

As the race progressed, both Marsh and Catliff worked their way back through the field and on lap 8 of the ten lap race, Marsh was able to follow through with a pass on Moloney as a Class A car from the back of the pack made a space.

Race 2 finished in much the same way as race one, with Moloney and Marsh seperated by less than a second with Moloney finishing with a credible 3rd place again.
